Bill Reynolds
Chair

Bill served as Seventh Ward Alderman on the Kingston Common Council between 1994 and 2011, most of those years as the Council’s Majority Leader. A member of the Kingston Democratic Committee for nearly 25 years, Bill also held several executive policy and communications positions in NY State government under the administrations of governors Andrew Cuomo and Kathy Hochul. He served as press secretary for NYS Comptroller Tom DiNapoli, and ran the communications offices for then Senate Democratic Leaders David Paterson and Martin Connor. Bill began his career in government as administrative aide to then Kingston Mayor John Heitzman, and later served as communications director for then Assemblymember Maurice Hinchey. Bill has been a resident of the City of Kingston for 37 years, and is a lifelong resident of Ulster County, having grown up in his other favorite town, Woodstock.
