“Wake Up With The Birds”
Fundraiser for the Kingston Democratic Committee!
Saturday, June 6th, 7-9 am (Rain Date: Sunday, June 7th)

Join us for an early morning bird walk along the Hudson River Brickyard Trail.

• This walk, great for any level of
interest, will be led by Wendy Tocci,
a longtime member of our local John
Burroughs Natural History Society.
• We’ll meet at the Kingston Point
Beach parking lot for a brief
introduction to birding before
proceeding on a dirt path to the
paved trail along the Hudson River
where we’ll take a leisurely walk to
the pavilion (approximately 1¼ miles
with some gentle hills).
• Bring a water bottle, binoculars
(we’ll also have binoculars to loan),
and a non-perishable breakfast item
for donation to the community fridge
at Clinton Avenue United Methodist
Church. Light snacks for the walk
will be provided by the KDC and
participants will also receive a
beautiful, native bird patch donated
by https://BirdCollective.com
• The cost, per person, is on a slid-
ing scale: $25-$50; free for children
under 12. (No dogs, please.) All
proceeds will go to benefit the KDC.
