Lara Olivieri is a seasoned court attorney and dedicated public servant, who is known for her empathic nature, ability to connect and foster relationships with people from all walks of life. As principal law clerk to Ulster County Family Court Judge Sarah Rakov, she brings over 21 years of experience in public service, specializing in complex legal expertise related to Family Court, settlement conferences, contract management, and environmental law.

With a career spanning over two decades, Lara has held pivotal roles such as an Administrative Law Judge for the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, an Assistant County Attorney for Ulster County assigned to Family Court, as well as Senior Attorney for the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation handling complex legal enforcement actions within their Region 3 offices.

As a lifelong resident of Ulster County, Lara is passionate about her community and committed to serving the people of Ulster County. With a strong commitment to fairness and justice, Lara has a strong history of resolving many complex family law cases, including child custody, visitation, juvenile delinquency and family offense matters.
